While one hijab covers the head, hair, and neck, some carry a burka from head to toe with an eye or, also, a niqab that does not even have such an opening, but only a barely transparent mesh. The scarf is considered a sign of modesty and a symbol of faith, and the one worn by Muslims is called a hijab. In Iran, a headscarf was a standard apparel in the country even before the arrival of Islam. The Islamic regime has begun to demand that Iranian women wear a veil (hijab) in public shortly after they took power in Iran in 1979. Thirty years later, the Iranian police continue to implement harsh measures regarding wearing hijabs to keep the regulations firm when Dressing in question. This fight against mandatory hijackings began more than 30 years ago when brave Iranian women protested in Tehran, March 1979, where they were harassed by the regime’s forces. Violence has won, the mandatory wearing of the hijab is imposed, but the desire of women for free choice overcomes repression. It is represented as a symbol of modesty, privacy, and morality. The orientations in Islam and their theologians individually “decorate” interpret in different ways, and in general, the three most common explanations are that they are external clothes, jewelry on the head and hands, and the very face. The coverage of the woman’s body depends on the interpretations, from the minimalist ones, covering her hands and (partly) hair, to the maximalist ones that require the covering of a part or whole face. On the contrary, some countries like Turkey in the 20th century have transformed themselves and mostly adopted the Western Code of Clothing. The same has been partially approved in individual countries of the Arab world, while in the more conservative countries of Arabia, the coverage is minimal of hair scarves.
